Community Sport Online Training - This is the first step to become a Trained Community Novice Coach. After completing this online module, you will have to complete a Community Novice Coach Training with your local or provincial coaching organization to become fully trained.
Whether you want to coach tackle, flag, touch, or if you’re unsure where you'll end up, this module will get you on your feet and teach you what you need to know to begin coaching in a safe and ethical manner.
This module contains information regarding our Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD), Safety / Responsibility of coaches, how to create a practice plan, as well as looking at some fundamental skills to get you started. Once completed, you will be able to venture into more advanced, technical, and discipline-specific content.
