CAMFA is always looking for Officials to referee our upcoming season.  Officiating football is a great way to get to know the game better, and you get paid to do it, and all your training is provided.

Here is some of the key information:

ABOUT THE GAME

• You will work with another official – there should be at least 2 officials per game.
• ​​​​​​​Officials will receive $20/flag game and $30/tackle game.
  

​​​​​​​ABOUT THE TRAINING

• All the training is provided.
• All the gear is provided (shirt, whistle, and flags).
• There is a short online course and an in-person session that includes real game experience so that you are prepared for game day.
• ​​​​​​​There is a training session in the spring to learn how to officiate flag games, and a training session in the fall tolearn how to officiate tackle games.
• At the end of the training, you will be a Certified  Official, which means if you want to, you could officiate a game anywhere in Canada.
