Are you interested in calling the shots? Have you been interested in getting involved but not sure where to start?  Maybe you’re an existing or past player looking to make a little money.

Here is your opportunity!

CAMFA is looking for Flag Football Officials to referee our upcoming spring season.  Flag Football is a great place to start, and you get paid to do it and all your training is provided.

Here is some of the key information:

ABOUT THE GAME

  • The games are an hour long so it’s not a huge commitment.
  • You will work with another official – there should be 2 officials per game.
  • The game day fields are much smaller – about a ¼ of the size of the turf. So there is less running.

ABOUT THE TRAINING

  • All the training is provided.
  • All the gear is provided (Shirt, Whistle, and Flags).
  • There is a Short Online course and in person session that includes real game experience so that you are prepared for game day.
  • At the end of the training, you will be a Certified Flag Official which means if you wanted to you could officiate a game anywhere in Canada.

ABOUT THE PAY

  • As a Flag Official, you will be paid for your time.
  • The Head Official will receive $20 per game (each game is only an hour so that is $20/hr!!!).
  • The Second Official will receive $15 per game (again with each game only an hour that $15/hr).
