This Spring CAMFA is excited to announce the launch of their first official Full Spring NFL Flag Football season. NFL Flag Football is being adopted across the nation and we want all our existing CAMFA athletes, as well as anyone new who wants to try football for the first time to come be part of the inaugural season!  

Whether you are 5 or 17, or somewhere in between, this is a great opportunity to try football for the first time.  

Flag football is growing in popularity throughout Canada, the US, and around the world and Football New Brunswick is leading the charge in bringing the sport to New Brunswickers, and CAMFA is excited to be a part of it.  

There are many factors behind the momentum of the game, here are a few:

Spring Flag Registration Information:  

1. Registration will be opening on Super Bowl Sunday for all divisions on our website.  
2. The Regular Season for U12-U18 will run between April 1^st – June 23^rd with Provincials for U14-U18 on July 6-7^th 
3. The U8 & U10 Season will be shorter, approximately 6-8 weeks starting in May. We are finalizing the start date but expect the 1^st or 2^nd week of May.  
4. In alignment with Football Canada and the National Tournaments U8-U12 is Coed and U14-U18 will have female and male divisions.  
5. Each Athlete will receive a NFL Flag Jersey that will be worn on game days and they will get to keep their Jersey at the end of the season.
6. Pricing:
   1. $299 for U12-U18  
   2. $150 for U8-U10 

Required and Recommended Equipment:

1. Jersey – CAMFA will provide.
2. Flags – CAMFA will provide.
3. Mouthguards are REQUIRED. These can be purchased at Cleve’s Source for Sports, Sports Chek, Amazon, and other sporting goods stores.
4. Cleats for outdoor sessions on turf or grass are recommended. These can be purchased at Cleve’s Source for Sports, Sports Chek, and other sporting goods stores. If you have a gym session, Sneakers are the way to go.

Age Eligibility

4. 1. U8 age eligibility - no older than 7yrs by December 31 of the year of play.  (this is the starting point for those athletes who will be 6 or 7 this year)
   2. U10 age eligibility - no older than 9yrs by December 31 of the year of play.
   3. U12 age eligibility - no older than 11yrs by December 31 of the year of play. 
   4. U14 age eligibility - no older than 13yrs by December 31 of the year of play. 
   5. U16 age eligibility - no older than 15yrs by December 31 of the year of play. 
   6. U18 age eligibility - no older than 17yrs by December 31 of the year of play.
